GERMANY: Exotic bird breeder Roland Adam captured this extraordinary exchange between a pelican and a dog in Hoerstel near Osnabrueck, Germany. Roland Adam was feeding day-old chicks to his pelican called Petri but his pet dog Katjinga (a Rhodesian Ridgeback) managed to get there fist and gulped down the treat. Angry pelican Petri procedes to stick his considerable beak into Katjinga's ears and mouth, looking for where the cheeky dog could be hiding the treat.
